In this QA position you will develop test strategies/plans/cases, defining environment, and executing significant network testing.  You will perform all tasks with a nominal amount of supervision. 

 

Requirements:

·          Minimum 7 years software testing experience in a Unix environment – including sw application installation/configuration and basic Unix system administration skills.

·          Network technologies -  in depth understanding and trouble shooting skills of TCP/IP networks to include some knowledge of routers, switches, load balancers and the , associated protocols TCP/IP, UDP, TCP etc.  CCNA is a plus

·          Test tools:  must be able to do some programming in scripting languages to create simple test tools (e.g., functional/performance tools to generate IP traffic and compare test results to expected output).

·          System monitoring solutions - strong data: measurement, collection, presentation, analysis, and correlation, background.

·          At least 5 years writing shell and/or Perl scripts in Linux/Unix environment.

·          Ability to perform requirement analysis and work independently to create test products test plans, test cases, test reports of good quality.

·          Experience with test tools such as:  test director, defect tracking tools

·         Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and test processes

·         Ability to create test schedules and to provide input to project(s) master schedule

·         Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

Education: 

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Description:-

* The Software Deployment Specialist is responsible for the deployment, scheduling and follow-up of applications to Windows XP workstations using Tivoli Configuration Manager.

* The candidate is also responsible for the troubleshooting and corrective actions to be taken for failed distributions.

Skills:-

* Use of Tivoli Configuration Management deployment interfaces

* Knowledge of Windows XP workstation

* Understanding of application installations (e.g. MSI)

3. Title: Siebel developer

Responsibilities:
* Requirements gathering
* Design and coding
* Testing and debugging
* Production support and customer support
* Accurate translation of business requirements and use cases into technical specs and design
* Configure the Siebel package to achieve the expected results
* Unit test all work until it is error free
* Participate in system testing and user testing
* Implementation and support

 

Technical Skills Required:
* 4+ years of Siebel experience
* Siebel certification
* 3 to 5 years of Siebel configuration experience
* Understanding of relational database concepts
* Knowledge of SQL, system analysis and design/development methods
* Very good communication skills

 

Preferred Skills (not required):
* Siebel 7.8 or 8.0 upgrade experience
